Use of your personal information
Here at MiCabi we want our chauffeurs and customers to have a smooth and reliable experience. The information you give us when you book is held securely by MiCabi Ltd. Chauffeurs receive a customer’s phone number while a ride is being performed, when contact needs to be made. After a ride has been performed the chauffeur no longer holds the customer’s phone number.
Control and security of your personal information
Apart from the advertising measurement described below, we do not collect any information unrelated to booking a journey or contacting us. The details you send through the booking form (pick-up, drop-off, date, time, name, phone number, email address and any notes) are emailed to our office, and the form opens WhatsApp with the same details ready for you to send. We handle this information under UK data protection law.
Sharing your information
We do not sell customer information or pass your booking details to other businesses for their marketing. The only visitor information that goes to another company for its own use is the advertising measurement described below.
Your messages pass through the services used to send them, such as email and WhatsApp, each under its own privacy terms. Google receives the limited information listed in the next section. We also disclose information to the authorities where the law requires it.
Why we use your information, and for how long
We use your booking details to carry out your booking. We use the advertising measurement described below because it is in our legitimate interest to know which of our adverts lead to enquiries. We keep booking details for as long as we need them to run the booking and for our legal and accounting records.
Google may process the information it receives outside the UK, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.
You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your information, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Google Ads conversion measurement
We advertise on Google. To see which of our adverts lead to enquiries, this website runs the Google Ads tag (tag ID AW-956703413) on every page. The tag loads from Google’s servers each time a page opens, so Google receives the technical details that any website visit sends: your IP address, your browser and device details, the address of the page you are viewing and the page you came from, along with the cookie identifiers described below.
When you tap a phone number, a WhatsApp link or an email link on this website, or send the booking form, the tag also tells Google:
- that a phone tap, WhatsApp tap, email tap or booking request happened (a tap means the link was selected, not that a call connected or a message was sent)
- the address of the page where it happened
- the Google click identifier, if you arrived by clicking one of our Google adverts
We do not send your name, phone number, email address or booking details to Google through this tag. We use the results as counts of how many taps and booking requests came from our adverts. Google may also use this information under its own terms, including to personalise the ads it shows you, subject to your Google ad settings. How Google handles information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies
This website does not show a cookie banner and does not ask you to accept cookies before the Google tag runs. The tag is active as soon as a page loads. It sets Google cookies in your browser, such as _gcl_au, which is used for advertising measurement, and _gcl_aw, which remembers which advert you came from. Our cookie policy lists them and explains how to remove them.
How to opt out
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser setting or content blocker that stops third-party scripts. Blocking the Google tag also stops the measurement described above.
To control the ads Google personalises for you, use Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com.
To ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or to have it removed, contact us using the details at the top of this page.

Any information that needs to be updated on your behalf can be done by contacting MiCabi and shall be updated.
